MISSION

Partial Comfort Productions is a not-for-profit ensemble devoted to the development and production of innovative theatrical events. Our plays are written by our member writers and brought to life on stage by our actors, directors and designers. We strive to produce theater that is both inspiring and challenging to the first time theatergoer and the seasoned aficionado alike. We believe it is our responsibility to make theater an affordable reality for every New Yorker, with the understanding that in our house, Everyone is Welcome…But No One is Safe. Partial Comfort Productions assumes a principal role in creating a cohesive downtown theater community, leading a theatrical revolution by producing work that is immediate and speaks to our generation. Our work demands that our audiences be Partial-ly Comfort-ed, living with them long after the curtain has fallen and the house lights have been raised.
